There are no perfect churches. If you say you should be just like the early churches, which one?
Corinthians were having sex every which way, suing each other, getting drunk at church potluck. Thessalonians were quitting jobs, sitting around waiting for Jesus' return. Colossians were worshipping angels and beting themselves to prove how holy they were. Galatians were turning into legalists and racists.
